CV-CultureDayCrest View Elementary recently held Culture Day. Each classroom created a cultural project that was on display in the Media Center Museum along with artifacts from The Northwest Suburban Integration District collection. Traditional Indian Rangoli Art, made out of fine colored powder, created by a staff member was also on display.

Many students and staff wore traditional cultural clothing to celebrate the day. Students sampled a cultural lunch of tacos or Asian chicken along with a cultural presentation. The day ended with a musical assembly with performers representing Scottish/Irish bluegrass, Chinese, Hip Hop, and Inspirational Music.
