For the third time this year, an Osseo Area Schools employee has earned the highest state-level recognition available in his/her respective profession.
The Minnesota Association of School Business Officials (MASBO) has named Kelly Benusa, director of business services, the 2014 Minnesota School Business Official of the Year.
Benusa was recognized at the MASBO spring conference where she was presented with several awards, including a $2,000 scholarship for an Osseo Area Schools student and a complimentary registration to a national leadership institute for school business leaders.
The string of “best in state” honors for Osseo Area Schools began last fall when Superintendent Kate Maguire was named Minnesota Superintendent of the Year. Ingrid Miera, an English Language Educational Support Professional at Fair Oaks Elementary, followed as Minnesota Educational Support Professional of the Year. Benusa’s recognition makes it a trifecta.
