Looking to make an impact on students of all ages in Osseo Area Schools? Consider serving as an Opportunity Corps, Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps tutor during the 2017-2018 school year.
As part of the AmeriCorps program, Opportunity Corps tutors work with adults to help them create and implement individual plans to meet their educational and employment goals. Tasks may include helping adult students learn about workforce center services, reviewing and helping write resumes, and more. A stipend for service is provided, along with an educational award, health care and child care assistance as needed. Opportunity Corps members also receive training and support to help fulfill the mission of the program.

Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math Corps
Reading and math tutors are needed to serve students at many elementary sites in Osseo Area Schools. If you love to help children grow their skills and succeed in school, this is a perfect opportunity to give back.
With extensive training, support from onsite coaches, and evidence-based strategies, Reading Corps and Math Corps tutors are well-equipped to change lives. Tutors earn a living allowance and may be eligible for an education award, federal student loan forbearance, health care insurance and child care assistance.
