After School Youth Enrichment

Important Registration Information
- Register based on your student’s grade in the current school year.
- Class sizes are limited.
- Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Classes may be cancelled if enrollment does not meet minimum requirements.
All students in after-school classes must report to the cafeteria for class check-in and snack immediately after school.
Are you "in" the class?
Assume you are in the class if you have registered BEFORE THE DEADLINE! We do not call to confirm. If you provide us with your email address we will send you an email confirmation.
Parents! You are responsible for writing a note to your child’s school-day teacher. Inform the teacher that your child is attending a After School Youth Enrichment class and the dates of the class.
If your child will be absent from school you must notify your school office that your child will be absent from an after-school class.
Please review these rules with your child. Students who attend WILD Child after-school classes are expected to follow the same rules they follow during the regular school day.

Students who behave in ways that are dangerous or disrespectful of others or property may not be able to stay in the program.
Refunds will be given to students cancelling 5 or more days prior to the class start date - 7 days for food classes.
There is a $10 non-refundable processing fee on each class registration.
- You must pick up your student at the after school/Kidstop entrance, designated by an after hours sign.
- For the safety of your child you must have your ID ready.
- Only ADULTS you have listed on the registration form will be allowed to pick up.
No students under the age of 12 are allowed to walk home after a After School Youth Enrichment class. Students 12 and older may walk if the parent or guardian provides a note.
Teachers are not able to wait with students. A late pickup fee of $10 for the first 10 minutes and $1 per minute afterwards will be assessed for late pickups.
Scholarships are provided to ISD 279 students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program and attend an ISD 279 school.
REGISTER EARLY! Limited scholarship funding is available and given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Each student who qualifies can receive a scholarship for one class per season at 1/2 off the regular price.(most classes included)
You must submit a copy of your free/reduced verification letter from ISD 279 food services with your registration. Other district letters will not be accepted.
If you do not have your original copy and need to obtain another you may contact food services at 763-391-7241 from 7 - 11 a.m. Allow at least 24 hours between the request and the pickup date.
The last day to request a letter is May 30th.
